For those in the north who’ve been hit: how bad was the snowstorm for you?
I live on the coast of Maine, so we’re pretty much the last people to get it, so far we have about a foot of snow on the ground, and it’s not supposed to stop til about 7 AM tomorrow. There’s also been thunder and lightening in and around my county - something I’d never seen before! (Apparently it’s quite rare.) How much snow did you get, and how bad was the storm? Is it still snowing where you live?

i live in massachusetts and i think the snow finally stopped. it was horrible on friday night - my car spun out on the way home from work and the front end is wrecked. my dad lives in maine, too, but he didn't say anything about thunder & lightning where he is (kennebunk). that must have been weird!
In Ontario we have about two feet of snow. Friday was a nightmare. Now they're calling for rain on Christmas Eve. Oh joy...
i live in the Chicago suburbs and the actual storm wasn't so bad its just really cold and lots of snow. It wasn't like a blizzard but it keeps snowing so its piling on, they have to shovel like everday
minnesota. a lot of snow, the flurrying was the worst. between the snow and the wind, there was damn near a foot of snow on top of my car this morning. -10 degress this morning. -8 right now.
