I am beating my head against a brick wall. I know I know this one, but my brain just will not compute....
A little help?
Update:OK. So the answer I have in standard form for the original questions is x=4/3x+9
The answer I have now is x=-4/3y-10/3....... Anyone?
Thank you for the help!!!!!!! I am trying to remember algebra after 12 years of not using it. At least not thinking about it like this.

find the slope of the first line
get the opposite reciprical of that
and thats the slope of the perpendicular line
then plug in the -2 and -1 i think
y+1=4/3(x+2)
You seem to know how to do the question, but you're just a little stuck.
Well, as the line is perpendicular to 3x - 4y = 9, you can get the gradient by using the principle of:
m1 x m2 = -1 (m is the gradient)
Then, substitute the gradient and co-ordinate values into the given equation to get the y-intercept and you're done.
you can do coordinate form
y=ROC(x--xcoordinate)+y coordinate
then you can make it into standerd form if need be
to do that u subtract the x from both sides
