Hi,
We are having a “Family Barbeque” this coming Sat and I really need a good “Home made sauce” to use.
We have already got some Chicken legs and Pork ribs, my two brothers like it spicy but the wife of Andy is a mild eater, so I need two types one hot and one mild.
One more thing “Sorry” to be a pain, but they must be Home style so my wife can tell all the other guests how to make it, she is a good cook but has no idea's about this.
I just know that you will help me.

Here is one for you and you can double, triple the ingredients depending on the quantity you want.
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon mustard
slice onion
crushed garlic
mix all ingredients and marinate chicken or chops in sauce for about 3 hours.
This is not hot.
Hi there.
For the mild sauce you could make something with yoghurt and coconut (milk or cream) with mild spice such as turmaric - or use peanut butter which could be softened with water/milk/yoghurt or thinned out with soy sauce or worcester sauce.
For the spicy you could use honey with cayenne but it's tricky on a BBQ as it can soon burn. One of our favourites is bottled brown sauce with an amount of Chana Masala. Chana masala is a medium hot Indian spice mix and Garam masala is a mild spice mix - both really delicious.
Have fun. Let us know how you get on!
