That’s the problem with trying to respect every passage in the Bible as though it must mean only what it seems to say.
The line “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us” should set off an alarm.
I am told that we have trespassed against the Commandments, given by God the Father.
And in order to forgive us, God the Father set in motion a Plan, which resulted in the horrific, painful, and public death of His only begotten Son. By definition, His firstborn child. By definition, all of His actually born children. I am told that nothing less than this sacrifice would have gained us His forgiveness.
So, a neighbor does one of us a wrong. Can we just shrug it off, forgive the neighbor, and get on with our lives?
Or must we set in motion a plan that would result in the death of one of our children?

Well if you mean by 2 things...1, they're too lazy to deal with something themselves so they need a ''higher power'' to help. Or secondly, they can get away with anything they want even if it was a ''mistake'' or ''error in judgement'' and know that they will be forgiven if they simply pray, then yes, it is a bad example to other people.
So you have it all figured out? So what is Plan B?
yes sir it does speaking for the DEAD
