Does anyone know where I can download Black★Rock Shooter? Or how to run a .mkv file?
I've been looking for a site where I can download both the Black★Rock Shooter OVA and series with english subtitles, for free of course, for a long while, but I can't find one. Does anybody know about a site like that? Also, it would be great if it is an .avi file, seeing as Windows Media Player doesn't support .mkv files.

Best of luck trying to find a download for that OVA, I can't help you on stuff like that (it's...kinda illegal.)
.MKV (Matroska Video File) can be opened by Windows Media Player with the Matroska DirectShow pack, or by using another video player, which is much more recommended, since codec packs are outdated and unreliable.
Try VLC Media Player.
What i exploit is Brorsoft MKV converter which could be very convenient and rapid to use it may convert mkv to close to some other video converter reminiscent of avi,mp4,wmv,flv,mov,mpeg,mp3,3gp and so forth. What's extra,that you would be able to make full use of its enhancing and perfect your movies google Brorsoft mkv converter experience your videos
