The "glass cellar" concept is mostly bogus. It was popularised by Warren Farrell and parroted by "MRAs" as somehow reverse discrimination against men.
Are there unskilled manual labour jobs that pay low wages and employ mostly men? Yes, of course there are. Just look at a warehouse loading dock or a farm. Such jobs mostly attract men who are not employable for other jobs even in good times. That isn't an active sexist discrimination against men.
There are demanding, hazardous occupations that predominately employ men. As you might expect, hazardous jobs generally get hazard pay, especially if they are both dangerous and skilled. You can argue that the pay for a given occupation does not adequately compensate for the true hardships and risks and that may be quite true. But that begs the question of why anyone would take such jobs. Is it because they are overconfident and underestimate the risk? Is it because they don't have better options? Maybe that is a social equity issue but it is not a discrimination issue.
And remember that women were and to some extent still are discouraged from entering many of these occupations. Also remember that the majority of managers who do the hiring and assignment of these jobs are men.
So Farrell's "poor menz" whine is just lame to me.
If you want more money, here's a novel idea. WORK HARDER, STUDY HARDER. If you are lazy, or if you are stupid that you can't earn money, it's not due to a fictitious glass ceiling.
LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN LIFE AND ACTIONS. WORK HARD.
I know this is something women have a lot of trouble doing, since women wait for a man to approach them, and wait for a man to pay for everything (so she doesn't have to work in a job), because women have zero will-power to exact any change in their own pathetic vapid lives.
