everyone gives their wife of gf all the money they have. If you turned to your gf and told her here’s 20k you have 1 day to spend it it would be gone in 2 h max and it would save the economy would it not? Men are such horders with money some women are horders too but typically not. Why are they hording it?

No, I do not have faith the economy will be fully restored to what it once was. I do believe we can regain a 60%-70% of the financial loses but not 100% all of it.
During the "financial crisis of 2008" many businesses closed down and the economy was perminantly changed. The small businesses that barely managed to get by, ended up closing-down and the big companies, that dominated the markets, faced huge financial loses and laid of thousands of employees.
In the economic crisis we are currently witnessing at the moment is anything like the one in 2008, which it is, that we should see many businesses close down in the next couple of months.
Rampant consumerism does not “save” an economy. Dependent on other circumstances, it may just provide a lot of jobs for Asians.
