Yes and No. I think that states should have to right to make their own laws and run separately. However I do not believe that any one state, no matter how popular it may be among its residents has the right to take away right granted to us by the Constitution.
It’s easy to say we need to give states more rights when a popular law is deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. But no state should ever have the right to supersede the one document take keeps us all free.
