It all depends on how the Democrats deal with the unmentioned split in their Party.
If the entire Democrat Party Base and the Establishment Democrats embrace these new Marxist Socialists who are winning primaries against the establishment Democrats around the Nation, they will have a better chance.
However, they may face a backlash among the 47% of Democrats who hold a positive view of capitalism .
Edit @ RestInPiecesGOP:
I appears that you, like many other liberals are so foolish as to equate Democratic Socialism with Social Democracy.
The Marxist Democratic Socialists often refer to those who blindly make this mistake as "useful idiots".
The practice of Social Democracy in Nordic Countries does not make them into Democratic Socialist Nations, as many leftist supporters in the US have been led to believe by the Marxist Progressives who have taken control of the Democrat Party and need to mislead in order to gain support among the masses and achieve their long term goal of a Marxist/Stalinist government in the US.
But, we cannot expect that the useful idiots will do any research and admit their folly.
They will blindly support the Marxist Democratic Socialists and foolishly believe that these deceivers are merely promoting for Social Democracy in the US, and not for the Democratic Socialism championed and written about by Karl Marx......... until it is too late for them to learn the difference.
It’s become almost a given that they will take back the House by impressive numbers. The Senate is far more tricky but definitely doable. The polls get better for the Dems every day thanks to Trump World imploding.

It is possible, not probable
IDK, many people are salivating over their $20.00 pay increase.
This year? The House, maybe. The Senate, not likely.
Yes, it is possible, many people disapprove of the current Congress and the direction the country is going. Trump is not popular with voters either.

Sure, it is possible.
They seem to be doing everything they can to ensure that it doesn't happen this year.

What i think has nothing to do with the election results, i will wait for the results and live with it.
