Do women feel that it is a mans job to keep the lawn, service the car and perform maintenance around the house and still make a paycheck?
Division of labor is different with each family. If you feel it isn't being divided equally, make a list of everything from maintenance of house, vehicles, lawns, child care, house cleaning, etc. and then sit down and divide it up so both of you are doing an equal share.
My ex did. Work full-time, stay home raising the kids, keep the house spotless, tend to the outdoor lawn chores, be the accountant and pay all the bills, don't have any friends (really, did I have time for them anyways?) and make sure to give up sex on demand as 2-3 times a week was never enough...
Note the word...ex.
The only good thing that came out of the marriage is that I am self-sufficient and can pay my bills as I earn a good living. Small blessings I guess.
I think things should be divided evenly. If both people work, both people do chores, and both people take care of the children. Even if the man only works, I think when he is home from work, things should be split evenly then. No use for a man to be sitting on his hands while the woman does everything, luckily this isn't the 1950s.
whores (females) should take care of children as well as males, but it's EVOLUTIONARY (brest feeding) for a female to take care of children.. they have better skills.. it's natural..
but from my point of view, men should "make a paycheck"

I think anyone who sticks to there being real gender based jobs is crazy.
But if a partner in an enterprise of any sort wants control over expenses, they have to have some part in income.
