I watch this every day and personally think he was either foolish or didn't need the money (in which case why go on the programme!). Given my financial situation I would never have risked losing seven grand for a 1p so I would have dealt.
No deal. I think it all depends on whether £7,000 is going to change your life for a few weeks or a few months. It wouldn't even pay my credit card bill so definitely no deal.
i would have taken the £7000 its better to leave with something than to risk leaving with nothing. i would have refused to see what was in the box though lol

It was a 50/50 chance to win either amount so go for it and become the 13th member of the 1p club
Deal
I would have took the money so he has gone into the 1p club now that must be growing.
It was a mean offer so my guess is he thought he would be offered more as sometimes he does do that.
I would play the odds.
Avergae is £17,500 so would have taken an offer above that, and refused an offer below.
As it stands, I would have refused the £7,000 offer and taken the box - it has the best chance of the highest amount statistically.

No deal because the banker is very generous with some people but with others is not fear.
I think I would have bottled 7K in the hand is better than 35 in the bush
That was just some brave soul. I guess I would just deal 7k's much already, I guess. That's better than crap.
