then true only one of p or q equal to 0
âp + âq = â(p + q)
Square both sides.
p + q + 2â(pq) = p + q
2âpq = 0
pq = 0
This means either p or q = 0, but p = q = 0 cannot occur, since 0 * 0 = indeterminate.
Either p or q, or both, must equal 0. I'm guessing that you haven't tried 0 yet.
