I have an idea on how I would do this but it's all too vague. I'm wondering what are your tips and experiences with making things for a cosplay .... Like this image : http://www.zerochan.net/870396
How can I make a dragonfly wing and attach it to a wig , but the wig will be longer so attached to some of the longer hair, straight hair. What materials do you recommend, and the method of attaching it ? Thankyou for your time x
Also, what type of wig has fibers that can be dyed ?

Well that's gonna be hard to make.. XDDD
I think you should actually find a white feather that's bigger than just a seagull feather and weave your wig hair around it and use a couple of bands to secure it. I think using only one large feather would be better than using lots of little ones to make a big one otherwise it would be too weighed down and won't stick up. Use hair spray on the wig around the braided feather, maybe even hair gel.. i dunno. Make sure there's less hair on the left side of the wig underneath the feather- that's what the picture there looks like which is good cause you don't want one side too weighty.

the feather would look nice with a bit of food coloring on just that corner as if it's dripping fromt he hair. Good luck finding a large feather.. .-.
Obviously actual hair dye won't work because the wig is plastic, so you have to use a mixture of ink and rubbing alcohol. Here's a video that should help you through the process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQnwVLXUv%E2%80%A6 I hope this helps. :) Good luck!
