Both are correct. Light, and all subatomic particles have both wave and particle properties. Whether you see the wave properties or the particle ones depends on how you set up the experiment. If you set one up to examine the wave properties, they will show you their wave properties. If you set up to examine the particle properties, they will show their particle properties. But, there is no experiment that you can perform that will show both properties at the same time. The big question is how do the particles know what property you are examining?
