Leviticus contains a mixture of BOTH because it was intended to serve as some base guidance for the Israelite people some 6,000 years or so ago.
So we would NOT implement what is listed in Leviticus for several reasons...
1) It was intended primarily for 1 society - NOT every society
2) It was developed thousands of years ago and served as an early 'base' set of laws. Society has changed and we've expanded upon laws, adapted them, etc.
3) SOME moral laws in Leviticus still apply because they present objective morality. Objective morality doesn't change over time like civil laws do or subjective cultural norms
4) In a lot of ways Jesus has 'elevated' the teachings in Leviticus - not replacing them, but expanding them or broadening them. For example - 10 commandments say not to murder, but Jesus 'elevated' this by including hatred and thinking about killing someone else.
5) Some of the point of Leviticus was to place LIMITS on punishments for certain crimes. This was to restrain society's tendency to go overboard and take vengeance.
For instance - an 'eye for an eye' was an improvement over the old system of taking revenge of the entire person's household, declaring a blood feud, etc. It meant you can ONLY take equal punishment and not go overboard.
We can KEEP that idea, but still adjust laws and to ensure that punishments fit the crime
6) We can still keep the concepts that a crime is illegal or a moral code shouldn't be broken without also using the exact same punishment or to that same degree.
We can still accept Leviticus' prohibition on rape - while changing the punishment for it.

Overall - we typically only see non-theists mistakening Leviticus for some sorta 'written in stone' set of laws that Christians MUST obey or enact OR that if you take the Bible as 'the word of God' then that MUST meant that you agree with and would implement everything in Leviticus.
What is actually often shows is that the person saying that or expecting that has some MAJOR misunderstandings about Jewish, Christian faiths and the Bible.
It often times shows just how disconnected society has become from the Bible.
No. Jesus brought a far better covenant - the law of the Spirit of life that makes us free from the law of sin and death. Jesus said that the law (under the old covenant between God and Israel) made allowances for the hardness of people’s hearts, and even then no one could keep it all.
But Jesus came to give us new hearts through faith in Him and in His grace through the cross, so we can fulfil the law of love by His Spirit, not our own self-righteous striving.
I think they would just like to make that anti homo verse law and ignore the others. Be Christian if you want but put your heart and soul in to it and follow ALL of the book.

No. I am not a devout Jew! That is who the "Law" is intended for.
OT laws were fulfilled and set aside by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, in favor of the New and better Covenant, in his blood.
NO EXCEPT FOR TEN COMMANDS THE OT IS MOSTLY HISTORICAL..
