Wanna know legally how to go about handling an ex husband who is now several thousands of dollars behind in child support. All children have emancipated. And he’s ducking and dodging every month just to keep them off his back. Out of $650 I just got $80 and there are no more children on this case
Update:Let me make this clear. My ex owes the arrears and monies are owed to me. I just need to know the legal way to collect the monies. I’m done with asking Supervisors and caseworkers about this case. NOTHING GETS DONE! 2002-2021 is just too long this man will be 55 soon.

If the children are all emancipated, then he should ne be paying support. If he owes arrears before they were emancipated, that money is owed to you, not them. If they are emancipated, they do not get the money, no one does. If they thought getting emancipated meant he paid them child support, they were entirely wrong.
In my state the state goes after them. My ex didn't pay, got behind a couple grand and the state went to her house and removed the license plates from her car. Needless to say the payments started coming in right after that.
Have you reported this to the state so that any federal stimulus money he has coming can be seized?
Not sure what " All children have emancipated." actually means in this situation. So,if you could define what you mean by that.
