Slim and none. Unless you spend THOUSANDS and thousands and thousands of pounds. Eventually, and hopefully before you've blown every pound you've got, you may actually hit one of those bigger winners. By then you'll have lost so much that it won't feel much like a win.
These tickets are a tax on the poor and on the ignorant.
Well I don't know the exact chances but if the card costs £1 the chances will be ~ 1/1000 to win £800. If the card costs £10 the chances will be ~ 1/100. So basically you can be assured of the fact that ON AVERAGE you will need to spend more than the total prize you are hoping to win to actually win that prize, and that's how the scratchcards make their money. Of course its perfectly possible that you could go out tomorrow and buy a winning scratchcard but just remember if you continue with scratchcards for your whole life the odds will catch up with you and you will ALMOST CERTAINLY spend more on them then you ever win, and it is an absolute certainty that the population of scratchcard buyers lose money, if not every individual. Scratchcards are a waste of your money.
it is the worst bet on the planet with the lottery company paying back 50% of what it takes in.....or is it THE best bet on the planet.....that means a stack of scratch cards at the store numbering 1600 high there is an eight-hundred dollar winner.....it mixed in somewhere so you don't just ask the clerk for the bottom card.....quite simply the strategy is buy one at a time....if it is mixed in exactly in the middle you break even....if it's the eighth ticket you are up 792 anything after the 800th card you are at a loss.....there is a strategy to playing lottery and scratchers...if you lose thousands and thousands of dollars or sterling you are just a bad player...mathematics does not lie.....so where is the winning ticket going to be....either # 400 or number 1200......
