I have a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid. I love the factory installed radio CD player. It holds 6 CD’s at a time. I just don’t really like the idea of having a new radio put in just to be able to play my MP3 player in my car.
But when I visit the local car stereo places, that’s what they tell me I should do. They want $265 dollars to install a new radio which will play one CD at a time, and has an auxiliary jack, and they want $200 to just put a jack into the car radio I already have.
I just want the jack, not a whole new stereo, but $200 seems excessive. I’ve thought about going in and putting a $100 dollar bill down if they will just install a jack.
Give me some input, please.
Thank you.
Update:Well, iooOk, thanks for responding, but I understood nothing of that.
Can someone address me in layman's terms?
Thanks.
