I was wondering if a person necessarily loses consciousness when they sustain a traumatic brain injury. I suffered a fall several years ago in which I hit my head pretty hard, but I stayed conscious and didn't seem to have symptoms of concussion. I have been suffering some symptoms in common with those of mild TBI for years. I'm wondering if they might possibly be the result of my fall or if I can rule it out.

The brain is sometimes very fragile. The TBI (I thought you meant the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations LOL) may be the result of some organic issue with the brain, or many other causes as well as a serious traumatic incident.
I suffered a TBI from a fall. Three brain surgeries and 3 1/2 months later I was released from the hospital. You should see a doctor.
A traumatic brain injury? If so, then yes. I would think a fall could cause TBI.
God yes
