If your budget was to move outwards enough so that you could afford the good it would meet your demand and might purchase the good based on your tastes and preferences.
Is it just you who can't afford it? If a product is available but no one can afford it then technically there is no demand since no one will be buying it. That's why capitalism is a good thing -- it encourages competition among those who provide goods and services.
