I am an EMT, and legally I can administrate glucose, but I am wondering if I can buy it as well. We have to pay for our own supplies, and I wanted to see if I could get it, or do I need to go to a doctor for a prescription. I live in vermont.

I am not sure what you are asking but There are glucose tablets and gels you can buy over the counter as far as like the glocose emergency shot that most diabetics carry with them I am pretty sure that is by prescription only sorry
I couldnt help out more
So the glutose 15 is an over the counter gel you can buy I just looked that up and they are not that expensive either
WOW So they even have a glucose in a vial that is something i have not heard of I am not sure about that one at all

talk to both your supplier for supplies and your pharmacist about getting the supplies you need for your box!
They are the ones who deal with these issues on a daily basis so they will know what you can get and what you can't.
I do imagine that most of those supplies would come with your license number rather than having to get Rx!
