Can I ask the receptionist in the hotel I am at out for a drink? ?
I am staying in a hotel on business for a few months, moved here last week. I am staying in the city after that too but will live elsewhere. There is a man on the reception who seems really friendly and I do find him attractive. I was thinking of asking him for a drink but worried in case he says no or thinks that’s weird. What do you think?

Oh for sure, I know I would do it. Try to be discreet about it so he wont get in trouble.
I used to travel a lot and found many receptionists at hotels overly friendly almost flirty with me. And asked several out and gave some my phone #, I got nowhere! But give it a try as what's the worst thing to happen!
Most hotels have rules against employees being overly friendly with guests.

it is against most hotel policies. i doubt she would agree and risk losing her job. besides, in all likelihood she is already married.
