Revelation 19:20 And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed in its presence the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped its image. THESE TWO WERE THROWN ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE THAT BURNS WITH SULPHUR.
Revelation 20:10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet were, AND THEY WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER AND EVER.
Once captured, neither the beast or false prophet are killed, but instead they are tortured (or tormented) whilst alive in the figurative lake of fire.

Different parts of the Bible sometimes helps us understand symbolic expressions in the Book of Revelation.
The false prophet is another name for the two-horned beast, the Anglo-American World Power. The wild beast is Satan´s earthly political setup. Evidently, those 2 entities are not harmed by literal fire but by what fire symbolizes: annihilation, destruction. - Revelation 13:1-13.
Yes, once they were active, "alive." But suddenly they are caught off guard, while still active, and thrown into "the lake of fire." That means their destruction. What about being "tormented day and night?" That guarantees that they will remain inactive forever. Why? Because in certain parts of the Bible being imprisoned, jailed is considered being "tormented." It meant their remaining inactive, and jailed in death/nothingness forever.
The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia explains on the word "tormentor" as used in the Bible: "...Also Mt 18:34 for basanistes, "torturer." Normally the bankrupt debtor was sold into slavery. But, apparently, in extreme cases (where concealment of assets was suspected?) the defaulter was sent to prison until restitution should be made. Probably the imprisonment itself was regarded as "torment" (as it doubtless was), and the "tormentors" need mean nothing more than jailers."
In other words, a person who was owing something to someone, if suspected of withholding/concealing the assets, was sent to "tormentors," who were in fact "jailers/incarcerators." See how one part of the Scriptures clarifies another?
Check how some Bible translations reveal that:
Mt 18:34
Amplified Bible
And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (jailers) until he paid all that he owed.
Literal Standard Version
And having been angry, his lord delivered him to the inquisitors, until he might pay all that was owing to him;
NET Bible
And in anger his lord turned him over to the prison guards to torture him until he repaid all he owed.
New Heart English Bible
His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due.
Weymouth New Testament
So his master, greatly incensed, handed him over to the jailers until he should pay all he owed him.
All of that is moronic, ignorant, blitheringly idiotic crap believed only by the desperately naive and gullible. That's what's true, Political Commentator. Now stop ranting and go take your meds.
The "second death" is equivalent to the events of Revelation 20, as there is no remedy.
Yes that is so according to the book of Revelation.Yes I believe heaven and hell are real places. It is too bad many Christians and their pastors say things about it they can not find in the Bible.
That's what Rev. 19:20 says. We have to remember, though, that the lake of fire is not a physical thing. It is a metaphor for destruction. All the resurrected sons of Perdition shall be symbolically "cast into the lake of fire," or have their hopes, prospects, and happiness destroyed. Not even God can destroy an immortal being.
The lake of fire is a moral synonym for the trash fires at Gehenna, Jerusalem's dump, where early Hebrew kings sacrificed their children to false Canaanite gods by throwing them in the fire. It has nothing to do with the devil or Hell.
Oh ya the first time i red that i orgasm and ejaculated about the fire part .
That's good stuff . does the quran do that too ?
Today I had to suk my landlord off to pay partial rent.
Religion is merely a crutch for people that cannot handle reality.
