Back in the 80’s there was a sci-fi movie about a group of teens crewing a colony ship to a new planet after the earth is messed up by a civil war. One of the characters was a high IQ kid named Mr. beanstalk. I think I saw this movie on the Disney channel. I think it was on the Disney channel before The Flight of The Navigator. Does anyone know the name of this movie?

I know exactly what show you're talking about. It was a Sunday night Disney two-parter in 1987. Trouble is that I can't remember the name either! I remember that I thought the lead/captain guy was cute, but I am at a loss as to the name. It's on the tip of my brain and I will not stop until I find it. Watch this space.
