I don't have a middle name however, I'm finally getting one. My Italian/Jewish grandmother's name is Eléonora but most call her Léonora. Of course Eléonora is old and traditional but I feel Léonora sounds less Italian. Which middle name should I pick?
Update:@Harper:
She's dead and the rest of my family don't really care lol

- Why don't you ask your grandmother what she thinks? -
Eléonora <3
Eléonora
I like Eléonora. Maybe it's because I love the name Eleanor? For a middle name, maybe Lia?
I like both but prefer Eléonora more
Eleonora like me *-*
okay i'm not gonna say this just because Eleonora is my name , but trust me here in Italy Eleonora is not an old name there are many girls with this name, Leonora is awful (sorry, but that's the truth) and most people (maybe everybody) would see it like old. Maybe you can't feel the difference (i can't in english sometimes) but Leonora is an ugly name, it feels like come from 1800.
sorry if i made some mistakes =)
Both are beautiful, but I prefer Leonora. Because of the é sound, "Ayy" and the E sounds make a repetative sound on either sides of the L. So its AylayOHnorha or LayOHNorrha...and I prefer the latter.
Both are beautiful though.
Eleonora sounds better. In my honest opinion I would expect your last name to be Da Vinci if you went with Leonora. Eleonora sounds much more culturally correct.
Hope I helped!
They both are really gorgeous names :)
It's hard to say which one to pick without knowing the first name to hear the flow, etc. But you should pick which ever one you like best. My heart is saying go with Eleanora :)
Best Wishes x
