War takes time, so does recovering from it. It's not something that was going to happen in a week or two. You are naive, brainwashed and slow if you believed that was the case. Europe was still recovering socially from WW2 well into the 60's (80's if you count the Iron Curtain). America didn't kill their doctors. After Saddam was removed the country went into a civil war between two religious groups; Also not America's fault, and It was bound to happen at some point either way. Their country when from a theocratic dictatorship to free democratic state in what is a short amount of time considering the large political and social changes the country is going through.

If the common people of these countries didn't want the US there, they would kick us out. Instead, the common people help us fight against the radical extremists that would like nothing more than to re-subjugate the entire region.

Countries in this region have some of the most corrupt governments in the world; remember that when you hear something they tell you. Also, it is written in the Koran, that one of the best things you can do as a muslim, is overthrow a corrupt government.
