I am not pregnant; I just love names.
Do you prefer the name Archer or Archibald with the nickname Archie? Please note that these are *guilty pleasure* names and not something I would name my son.
~
BQ 1: Henry Oliver or Henry Roland? Why?
BQ 2: Louis (lou-ee) or Lewis (lou-iss)? Why?
BQ 3: What do you think of the name Alfred "Alfie or Freddie?"
~
Thanks! =)

Neither is something I'd pick, but I have to say Archibald Lewis...archaic and quirky beats trendy and surnamy.
BQ1: Henry Oliver...I love Roland, but the two R's in Henry Roland are a little too close together, makes it sound kind of growly. Can I pick Roland Henry?
BQ2: Louis, it seems more historic and kingly. Lewis has a slightly more surnamy and buttoned-up feel.
BQ3: I love Alfred, it's strong, handsome, and wonderfully historic and uncommon. I'd probably use the nickname Freddie, because I've heard that Alfie (as a full name) is a very stereotypical low-class/teen-mom type name in Great Britain.
I prefer Archer, though it reminds me of that stupid TV show about the spy, it's better than Archibald.
Henry Oliver is wonderful. I love the name Oliver and would always pick that over Roland.
Lewis, because I'm in the US. The only French names I have are for girls.
Alfred is a nice name, though it's not one I would ever use. It reminds me of an old man.
This hard because I have both names on my list. I'm such a sucker for older names. Anywho, I'm going for Archibald. I guess its probably because Archer reminds me of archery and I have an accent and it comes out w/ an er pronounced as ah or uh so it makes the name sound a bit weird in this case. Plus Archie Manning's full name is Archibald.
BQ: Henry Roland. I just prefer Roland, I really do not like Oliver.
BQ2:
Louis. I really like how this sounds versus Lewis.
BQ3:
Hm, I really like Alfred! Alfie is super adorable. I'm soo stealing it =)
Archibald Lewis "Archie"
BQ1: Henry Oliver flows better
BQ2: Lewis the other one sounds like a nickname instead of a full name
BQ3: Not my taste too old fashioned.
Archer--sounds cooler than Archibald
Henry Oliver--they work well together stylistically
Louis--more traditional
I do not like Alfred, or either nickname--too old fashioned, and not the good kind.
Archer
BQ1: Henry Oliver. Even though I don't care for Oliver I like it better than Roland.
BQ2: Lewis. I have never liked to pronunciation of Louis.
BQ3: As much as I like the name Fred, I like it as just Fred or Frederick. I don't care for Alfred.
I think the second way
