hi guys so me and my son fly to Dublin next week just for the day and I wondered if anyone knows the best villages/towns etc quite close to Dublin on a bus. He's 8 so I want him to keep him happy plus I want to see the beach a castle and the beautiful views 😊 I'm taking 150-200 euro is that enough? Thank you 😊

Thank you very much that does sound great 😊 It's just I've heard you don't get see the views that Dublin has to offer if you stay in the city and I'm really looking forward to seeing the ireland scenery 🙈 I looked at malohide and that looked quite nice and only4euros on the bus 🤔 Should have planned this earlier lol
If you're going to Dublin for a day, stay in Dublin for the day. Much easier.
Dublin has beaches, there is Sandymount, and Dollymount, for starters. I think Dollymount might be more fun, and you might even see some seals - but don't let him get too close to them. They are wild animals after all.
Instead of a castle, I would suggest the Dead Zoo, which is in the city centre. Also known as the Museum of Natural History, it's on Merrion Street.
As long as you don't take too many taxis, 200 Euro should be fine.
