Clannad (Mixed elements of romance and comedy, but it has a very serious plot. I cried alot while watching this one)
Zero no Tsukaima (Has alot of romance, some comedy, and alot of action) The dub title is: The familiar of zero
Peach Girl ( Kind of a more traditional art style but I got really into it after the first few episodes) Dub is really good.
Chobits (more on the comedic side with some romance, though i really enjoyed it.) I love the dubbed version of this one alot more than the japanese one

Its the same characters but I believe Samurai X is the pre story movies to the show Rurouni Kenshin
The love story between Kenshin and Miss Kaoru is awesome. By far my favorite show ever.
Also, Trust and Betrayal is pre show, and reflections is post. So the whole story is there.
