An Hermés Scarf for a friend's b-day?
Well ok, I have friend that I happen to really like, she is getting a lot into fashion and still does not have any accessory's, her b-day is coming up and I was wondering if, as a present an Hermés silk scarf would be a good present for her? She loves fashion, isn't really as familiar with couture, and needs some accessories.

I wouldn't get a scarf. Get something that she could get more use of year round. Check out Tiffany & Co. You can find some good jewelry gifts for her. I know a lot of girls/women that like tiffanys. Maybe get her something like this http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?sku=1896...
Ditch the scarf and get her some eye candy jewelry instead like a cuff bracelet or a stunning cocktail ring. A signature piece of eye candy is always hip and stylish. But it wouldn't be easy tho, it's like picking out the perfect LBD (Little Black Dress). Make sure it's NOT a logo jewelry. Stay away from Tiffany Dog Tags or LV monograms. Leave that for family.
Or get her a Missoni Striped Scarf! Those are so hot right now!
Take 4 concepts/issues that she likes to do. to illustrate, In 4 diverse envelopes have an IOU for a women facial evening - each and each and every time she needs. yet another will be a movie condo evening. The action picture of her determination and on a particular day. or maybe an IOU for styling her hair and/or doing her makeup. wish this helps.
Scarves are for old ladies, I would get her a purse or belt if she is under 40.
