What do you think of the combo, Alice Juliet Coppélia?
Coppélia is pronounced (koh PEEL ya).
This name is replacing my Mary Alice Coppélia combo. My future sister-in-law is set on naming her first daughter Mary Elizabeth, after her grandmother, and even though I've had my combo way before he even started dating her, I just can't take that from her.
BQ - Does Alice Juliet Coppélia or Alice Coppélia Juliet flow better?
BQ2 - If your future sister-in-law or brother-in-law had a similar name set in mind that honored a dear family member, would you be gracious and change your combo so that person can have that name?
Update:Yes, Coppélia is a second middle.

This combo is absolutely gorgeous. I want to add more, but I have to go out for lunch.. hopefully the question is open when I get back.
---------------------------------
I'm so glad the question is still open :) I'd hate not to be able to comment on such a gorgeous, rarely mentioned name like Coppélia {perhaps prepare yourself for some gushing here}. She's a name I often overlook, but whenever I see her am reminded of how much I adore her! I have Violet Coppélia Jane & Alice Coppélia Maeve on my long list :)
Alice Juliet Coppélia is divine; I think the dynamic of the name is quite perfect really. Alice is a long-time favourite of mine, so I may be quite biased, but I adore her light, airy feel. She has a delicacy about her, but also feels strong and timeless, and I love how her classic nature complements the spunky, quirky Coppélia {whom I too adore}. I tend to pronounce her with four syllables, with the é sound a bit of a mix between /ee/ and a short E sound, but I like both pronunciations of her. Juliet rounds out the combo beautifully with her romantic femininity and delicacy, creating a gorgeous balance of quirk, femininity and timelessness within the name as a whole. I think Alice Coppélia Juliet is fresh, timeless and enchanting as a whole, and would age beautifully.
---------------------------------
BQ1: I think they both sound really nice, but I slightly prefer the flow of Alice Coppélia Juliet. The closed ending of Juliet polishes the combo with a definite ending. I generally prefer my combos to end with a consonant sound, now that I think about it, but that's just a personal preference :)
BQ2: I think it depended on what the name was, but generally I'll say yes. I'm lucky in that I have a lot {20+} names I'd be more than happy to name my children, and I love almost all of my top 10 names for each gender equally, and will never have 20 children!

Oh, that's lovely!
Alice is so sweet and demure, and the middle names add a quirky, off-beat quality to the name that I think is great. Juliet is gorgeous, I would add it to my list in a heartbeat if my current #4 boy name wasn't Julius :( And Coppélia is just lovely, the more I hear it, the more I like it - and it sounds even more gorgeous in French! I tend to pronounce it that way, more along the lines of "koh PELL ee ah", since "e" with an accent aigu makes an "eh" sound (like in penny or hen). But I looked up the pronunciation (just to be sure) and it seems like English speakers say "PEEL", while French speakers say "PELL". Either way, it's gorgeous :)
BQ: Honestly, I prefer Alice Coppélia Juliet, since the abrupt, "-et" ending of Juliet really finishes the combination off. Also, I usually prefer the longest middle name to be first, then the shortest one second; I'm not sure why, just personal preference, I guess :)
BQ2: I would probably let them have the name and make a few changes to my combination - I'm enough of a name nerd to find a different name or variant to replace the one they wanted. But I'm an only child so I don't think I'll have to worry about a future brother- or sister-in-law, haha :P

I think it's gorgeous! Is Coppélia another middle name or the surname?
BQ- I like Alice Juliet Coppélia, but they both sound good I guess! If Coppélia isn't the surname, then it will depend on your surname to which order the names will sound good!
BQ2- I think so, you wouldn't want your child to have a similar name to them, and if it's honoring a family member then they should keep it :)
I prefer your Alice Juliet combo to your Mary Alice personally :)
One of the most beautiful names I've ever heard.
BQ: Alice Juliet Coppélia. Don't change a thing about it.
BQ2: Yes. I would be a little bit sad, but I wouldn't want to be like, "Well I may use that name." Especially if I'm not even pregnant, and I may not ever even have a boy/girl (depending on what the sex of their baby is). Haha, sorry, that sentence didn't make that much since :P

I loved it when I thought Coppélia was the surname, now I think it's quite weird. (btw, acute accent é means that it cannot be PEEL, but must be said cop-PEHL-ya)
Did you get that from a ballet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copp%C3%A9lia
Bit like Pinocchio, no?
edit: I think I'm warming up to Coppélia a bit. It's 2 days later now and I'm still thinking about that damn name, lol. I wouldn't use it for a first name, but you've buried it deep in the middle, so that's alright.
Although it still is somewhat akin to naming your son Pinocchio, just not as silly.
(I was also just browsing the archives at http://legitbabenames.wordpress.com/ and saw an entry for Coppélia. a mother posted a comment about having named her daughter this and I thought of your question again, hence my edit now.)
Juliet is one of my favorite names. I like Alice too, but not sure how I feel about them together. I do like that she could be an A.J. though. Hmm..
As for the other question, I think it would be okay if they both had that name, but it would depend on how deadset I was on the name I had picked out...
i admire Erin-Rose Coppélia ultimate =D i particularly particularly like Coppélia! =) it incredibly is totally distinctly sounding, and that i like it with Erin-Rose <3 BQ: in many circumstances I dislike dashes, yet subsequently i particularly style of like Erin-Rose with a splash ^.^
