2) The perimeter of a rectangle is 127 feet. The rectangles length is 11 feet longer than its width. Find the dimensions of the rectangle using the substitution method.

Substitute for l = w + 11
2(w + 11) + 2w = 127
Distribute
2w + 22 + 2w = 127
4w + 22 = 127

Divide both sides by 4
