A "loan" company put £250 in my account to transfer to them as a "fee" through western union?
I woke up this morning to find that I had £250 in my account from a loan company who promised my money would be in by 11, they then asked me to send it to "British councils" through western union. However, the previous day they had given me £250 to transfer to their head office to improve my credit score?
Is this company a scam? They're giving me the money?

I would close the bank account immediately and open another at a different bank entirely. Otherwise, you will wake up next week and see your money gone.
Absolutely a scam. The deposit will bounce, will be taken out of your account at .your bank, and if you've sent them any money, you'll be out that much
You have been scammed. NO lender uses Western Union and there are NO fees to be paid. All fees are added into the amount to be repaid.
