what you have there is 2 times the square root of seven, times the square root of 7 again
or 2 * √7 * √7
because multiplication is commutative, lets rewrite this with the 2 at the end
√7 * √7 * 2
now we multiply in order
√7 is defined as the number such that the number multiplied by itself is 7. that's exactly what we're doing; we're multiplying √7 by itself. thus, the product is 7.
now we're left with 7 * 2
I'm not sure where you got 14√7, that's so strikingly wrong :P
if you explain how you got that, someone could explain why that method is wrong, but i can't figure out your method.

b/c â7 *â7 =7 then u multiply by 2 which then = 14
You would combine â7 andâ7 to get 2*â7 squared.â7 squared=7. 7*2=14
2â7 * â7
Think about the definition of square root-
The square root of a number, times itself, gives that number.
â4 * â4 is 4
â9 * â9 is 9
â7 * â7 is 7
so
2â7 * â7 is 2 * 7 or 14
ok, 2â7 x â7 will equal:
2(â7)^2 ; distribute the power of 2 & it will cancel with the square root leaving you with:
2(7) which equals 14.
Whats the square root of seven squared? Seven. that's right. The rest is just simple arithmetic 2*7= 14
you multiply the "root 7" and the "root 7" together to get 7. Then you multiply this answer by 2 to get 14.
The Sqrt of number1 will yield a number that when it is multiplied by itself will equal number 1... Sqrt4 = 2 and 2*2 =4
So, when multiplying the Sqrts of the same number, the answer will be the number under the Sqrt.
Sqrt5 * Sqrt5 = 5
Sqrt6 * Sqrt6 = 6
So, Sqrt(n) * Sqrt(n) = n
And in your question you have a magnitude of 2 as well. So,
x(Sqrt(n) * Sqrt(n)) = x(n)
2(Sqrt7 * Sqrt7) = 2(7)
=14
2√7×√7
= 2×(√7×√7)
= 2×7
= 14
