I am from Puerto Rico and my boyfriend and father of my son is Mexican. He tells me that down in Arizona there is a lot of drug smugglers but mostly the Mexican here in the US are very hard working. My boyfriend is very young, he is 22 yro and He works sooo hard. His family here in the state and co-workers call each other constantly to get updates on any jobs for the following day. Like in any race, there are good people and people that give a bad name to the rest. My boyfriend and his friends make fun of us Puertorican for being 'lazy' which I believe is true specially males puertoricans. Just be proud of your partners heritage and forget what others think. And he shouldn't let people beat him up, even if he is illegal he has rights. He can easily press charges against this people and get justice.

Mexicans are believed to be moochers off Americans. Americans think they take all our jobs, when in reality alot of Americans aren't willing or are too lazy to do the jobs. Immigrants aren't favored by alot of people which is unfair. "if they can't speak English, the should go back to Mexico" is what I hear often. sadlyOverall a lot of people are just secretly racist and prejudice :(

because the media brainwashes people into thinking stuff thats un-true, cartels and stuff...mexicans in actuallity don't know much about that sinse we don't have that stuff in the news as much as in the u.s
