Yahoo, like most professional web sites, uses CSS to create its pages. CSS consist of a series of different files that form the pages. One of the header, one for the content, footer, sidebar, individual articles, etc.
Some browsers will see each CSS section as a separate "page" and sent it to the printer that way.
Try downloading a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, instead of IE. That could resolve the issue.
It could also be a different in the printer driver (the software that runs the printer.) Some drivers will cause CSS sections to act as different pages. Instead of printing directly to the printer, trying printing.saving the page as a PDF file and then printing the PDF.
