You will go through life dealing negative people and those who have no manners. It is human nature to get easily offended but we can change it by being the "bigger" person and not let other people ruin our days. People will always reap what they sow.

When I let other drivers cut in front of me, sometimes, they don't do the hand wave which means "thanks".

Sometimes when I hold the doors for other people, they don't even say thanks.

When you work with customers or co-workers, you'll always get someone who's negative, it's inevitable.

It depends on the situation. If they are busy or didnt hear you or didnt notice or something. it could also be that they are rude, but these days, that is less and less likely. It also depends on what it isyou did. not everyone feels that everything deserves a thank you, and it could be seen as rude to expect one every single time you do something nice for someone. really, you should be doing nice things without expecting a thank you, just do them to be nice.

People have a terrible attitude these days and think they are owed something. It's really sad.

I do, every time I get service. Whether it be at the grocery store, or at a drive-thru.

Though its rude not to say thank you, its also rude to assume someone should thank you for doing your job.
