Why do I crave love and a relationship yet look at women like they’re baggage and/or a distraction?
Obviously this sounds incredibly insensitive but I don’t know how to say this concisely while sugar coating it.
I crave a genuine, happy connection with a woman but it seems rarer than finding a unicorn. And some woman I talk to I get the vibe they’re just looking at me like I’m the salvation for all their problems and it turns me right off.

I hear you man. You want a partner, a muse, a help mate...you don't want a clinging vine or baggage in your life.
And that's what too many women have to offer...baggage. They seek a man to look after them because they can't care for themselves. That's especially common in girls who marry almost immediately upon graduating from HS.
The best woman to marry is the one that doesn't need you. The one who can get along just fine in life without you or any other man. Those are the women who will actually share the load of a relationship. A true partner and best friend.
