I don’t understand why this one pizza place who delivers won’t deliver to businesses! Our company wanted to order some hoagies and pizza and we gave them a business address and I heard the person from the pizza place say: “We only deliver to residents! Not businesses.” Why is that? Why can’t all pizza places just do their damn job and have the driver get off his/her lazy a*s and deliver the pizza even if it is delivered to a building? Some places won’t even deliver to apartments unless it is a house.
Why are certain places picky about delivering pizzas to businesses?

Because it's too difficult to determine if it's a legitimate order and who will be responsible for it. They are doing their job. They have a set policy and have a right to refuse service to anyone. No one is obligated to sell anything to you. Likewise, you are not obligated to buy from them. Take your business elsewhere.
because someone at a business can call and order with no intention of paying and no one would know who called so the pizza place gets stuck. some dont deliver to apartments because of the neighborhood they are in. both make perfect business sense
ive never heard of that, maybe some bad past experiences.
