I’m totally serious. I’ve heard people say with the acceptance of gay marriage, America is falling further away from God. Okay, but when we were ever close to him? When we committed genocide against Native Americans to get this land? When we forced the survivors onto reservations? When we enslaved Africans? When some states forcibly instituted eugenics in the 20s? At what point in America’s history are you comparing this time period too, that God was ever cool with how our ancestors’ behaved?
