so about two weeks ago I got a very bad sunburn. it started to peel and it was healing. I got in the pool and when I got out it felt like my shoulder had no skin on it and it burned really bad. (only one shoulder) I went in the pool the next day and it remained the same. it hurt very very bad and aloe only made it burn. a few days later it just got worse and worse. it is now a big scab covering my whole shoulder and on some points the scab has fallen off, but underneath it is bright pink. that part doesn’t hurt and feels like normal skin. I think that means it’s healing but I just really hope it doesn’t stay pink or scar because the scab is really big. please help meðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜I cant find any results or websites that answer my questions

You have an abrasion due to repeated burning of your skin. It may eventually heal without a mark or you could certainly have a scar or an area that will never be quite the same pigment as the rest of your shoulder. The much bigger concern is that now you have a significantly higher risk of getting skin cancer.
You need to wear a shirt and keep your shoulder cover at all time for at least a month -- maybe most of the summer. You need to we using high SPF sunscreen too. If you continue to expose your shoulder to the sun you will cause further damage and that will definitely leave a permanent scar. Don't be stupid.
Once you've got a burn that is peeling, don't go back into the water as this will slow
down the healing process. It could leave a scar, but over time will probably fade.
(Could take a couple of years to fade).
