You are going to be hard pressed to find a solid gaming computer for that price. On the up side, I have seen the best in gaming computers for not much more. I suggest you look into ASUS laptops. Mine has blueray, HD display fullsize keyboard, serious gaming graphics with 1TB hard drive and I can run 2 accounts of EVE Online at the same time on it with split screens. I'll not list all the specs here, as there is little point. The newer ones are even better and have NVIDIA instead of ATI cards. They also have much better venting than the Alienware ones (which have cooling issues). You can then see who might be selling them near you.
