If I visit rio de janeiro or sao paulo, will I be okay with speaking just english? I dont know very much portuguese. Also I would like to know the price of things. How much does Açaí cost and how much does it cost to see the Watermelon Woman (Andressa Soares/ Mulher Melancia) in a dance performance? Thank you, Obrigado!

most of brazilians does not speak any english. if u really want to go there you will be fine. Try not to go to Rio de janeiro, i recommend either Sao Paulo or Brasilia (the capital). Rio de janeiro is very dangerous and you will not have as much fun as other places. Believe me, i am from brazil.
