Someone gave me phone number, and one of the digit is this sign €. . i think it could be a typing error, or something wrong with the key,etc
maybe someone with IT background can help me with this.

the above symbol is easily inserted if the keyboard driver by mistake defaults to UK style keyboard ( but the actual keyboard is US style!).
In ctrl panel/keyboard options change ur keyboard settings to UK. then type out the numbers holding down the hash key.

I think it comes instead of #... so it shud be 3
The sign € stands for "Euro", which is the European currency. I don't know, if it could be a Typo, because in order to write it on a European keyboard you have to hit AltGr+E.
