A small pipe has a radius of 10 feet and a height of 22 feet while the large pipe has a height of 33 feet. What is the volume of the large pipe in terms of π?
Area of a cross section of pipe is area of a circle:
a = pi * r^2
For a cylinder, we just multiply this by its length:-
a = pi * r^2 * height
a = pi * 10^2 * 33
a = 3300*pi cubic feet.
