Martin Luther, the Protestant reformer nailed his 95 Theses on the church door in Wittenburg, Germany on All Hallows Eve, to protest some of the teachings of the Catholic church that were not biblical. Martin Luther was trying to reform the Catholic church back to biblical teaching, but the church ended up splitting into Catholic and Protestant.
