Symantec isn't in the habit of selling its technology to other people reproduce and sell at their own price. It would be like investing money in a product and then giving that exact product to someone else to make all the money back instead of you because they can sell it cheaper.
The cheapest way to get a Norton product is from the Symantec site. In-store will be more expensive. It can cost a bit of money but it's worth it in the long run.
If you have valuable stuff stored on your computer I HIGHLY recommend that you don't try and find a cheap alternative with this. It will more than likely do more damage than a virus will, and you'll be paying them to do it.

I would buy it from the Norton company only, just in case.
