First the Macbook Air is not powerful enough to game because it has integrated graphics so don't listen to Isaac. Gaming is more about the graphics card and RAM than the processor. You won't be able to get a laptop that can play games on high settings with 800 pounds but you can get something that can play games on low-med settings. I found this laptop.
The graphics card is pretty decent, but like I said you won't be able to game on high-ultra settings with your budget but it should be pretty good. Here's the benchmarks for the graphics card.
actually sorry to tell you that there are no high quality gaming laptops that are usually that cheap, but then you can look for a laptop with high "GB RAM" because those are really fast and can be used for games, so you would be targeting a good laptop which i advise you to check macbook air ( because it has 2.6 GHz which is really fast and you can upgrade it which would be good and as the device would be light but the price would be about £1000 - £1100 which is above the price but the cheapest with high quality.
That's all i know because you can't usually find gaming laptops those cheap so you would be targeting a very fast laptop with higher than 2GHz but their isn't really cheap but the closest was MacBook air
