I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring.
For about a month it would shake a lot (on the steering wheel), when speeds reached 60+. No other issues.
I had just put my spare tire on my passenger side (just put it on 60 psi max).
I made a right turn onto a gas station entrance, and it immediately came to a violent stop.
There was shavings on the ground and a rusty piece of metal inside the hub cap on my drivers side.
The car didn t want to move forward at all. Then i pressed the gas to move out the way and my tire ( front drivers side) got pierced by that chunk of metal. Luckly i had an extra tire, so i changed it.
I pressed the gas again since i removed that metal and tire. Then boom! Not only did that tire flatten immediately, it also detached the tire too. What happened? Is it worth getting out fixed on a 100,000 + mile car? I had the police tow it to an impound until the end of the week. I know.... it s already going to be expensive to get it out of there. It s late art night right now and that s why I m asking you guys😊. Thank you for your replies.

You should look under the car and see what's hanging loose. I can only guess it might be a loose axle with a broken CV joint. Get the car towed home asap to save on impound charges
You really know how to just ignore a problem until it becomes potentially dangerous, don't you?
Let this be a lesson to you. Fix it at the first sign of trouble, not when it tries to kill you and leave you stranded - and costs you a lot more!
The wheel bearing needs to be inspected. Something sure isn't right! You should have had the car towed to a mechanic. Even towing it to the dealer is cheaper than an impound lot!
sorry, but w/o inspecting the vehicle, there is NO way for anyone to know what the problem is
Get it towed to a shop and let them make an estimate. If the car does not have any other big issues, get it fixed and move on. Next time, see a mechanic if the car does not feel or drive right.
