By reducing the CO2 we reduce the oxygen levels, reduce the oxygen levels enough and people die because the trees and plants need the CO2 to live and make oxygen for us to breathe. Simple science!

All the "Idiot Al Gore bill" will do is add excess taxes on the backs of the people and finish driving what jobs that are left to India or China. Soon the fast food places will be closing because of no customers and there will be absolutely no jobs. No money, no job, no future!

Why are you worrying about what India and China are doing? Do you not mow your lawn because one of your neighbors doesn't?

If we are able to do something positive for the sake of the planet, then we must. And if you pay any attention at all to the business world, you'll realize that Europe still has a very lively business sector even though they've had a cap and trade system for years. "You do your best business on Main Street." Well, that's here in America for most of these businesses.

And if you're worried about the oil companies leaving the US, then you're worrying about the wrong thing. They're refusing to retool and move with the tide just like GM did. They're doing everything they can to avoid getting into alternative energy and when the big demand is for things other than oil and coal, they're going to go bust. Every product has its cycle.

I find it surprising how little conservatives know about business, sometimes.

u cant just take everones car in the world and replace it

not only that what about the military armor and the airplanes trains etc

and also if we change the oil to a different energy source

many countries econmies will crumple

I must point out the scientifically provable fact that Anthromorphic Global Warming, the belief that Global Warming is caused by Humans and what we do, is as scientifically accurate as Nazis trying to "Prove" that Aryan blood is better than everyone elses.

The US can't legislate for India and China. You realize the US uses a huge percentage of the worlds energy, right? We are just 4% of the worlds population...unlike China and India. They will never have as little output as we do.
